Schedule

We have a full weekend of activities planned for everyone; whether you can make it to one event or all of them, we are so excited to see you as much as we can!

Friday, August 30th

Welcome Drinks; 7:00pm to 9:00pm
The Graduate Hotel, Homestead Room
1625 Hinman Ave, Evanston, IL 60201

Join us at the Graduate Hotel in Downtown Evanston for some John Hughes-inspired drinks, bites, and decor! This is a very casual, come-as-you-are chance to gather, see Maria & Mel, and help us welcome anyone who might have travelled in early. The Graduate is walkable from both hotels, as well as having some limited street parking and access from the train and bus routes.

Saturday, August 31st

Travel & City Day

We know most of our guests will be arriving on Saturday; you're all welcome to explore the cities of Evanston & Chicago as you wish! Feel free to take a look at the Local Recommendations to see some of Maria & Mel's favorite places in Evanston.

Sunday, September 1st

Wedding Ceremony; 5:00pm
The Charles Gates Dawes House
225 Greenwood St, Evanston, IL 60201

Our wedding ceremony will begin at promptly 5:00pm. Please arrive a few moments before; we cannot guarantee entry in time for the ceremony to anyone who arrives late! You will be able to enter once the ceremony has finished, however.

Wedding Reception; 6:00pm to 11:00pm
The Charles Gates Dawes House
225 Greenwood St, Evanston, IL 60201

Join us for an evening of celebration! We will start with cocktail hour and dinner, and then go into the celebrating and mingling part of the night. Dinner will be served buffet-style with vegetarian and gluten-free options; Lactaid will also be provided for those guests who share our lactose intolerant affliction.

Monday, September 2nd

Farewell Brunch; 10:00am to 11:30am
The Hilton Orrington
710 Orrington Ave, Evanston, IL

Join us at the hotel for a casual farewell brunch to see everyone off before the weekend draws to a close! Even if you can only drop in for a moment, come by to pick up some bagels or a breakfast sandwich.
